Located at East Sands in St Andrews, this seaside sauna is part of the Scottish Seaside Saunas collection. It offers a spacious wood-fired sauna experience with direct access to the sea for cold water therapy. The facility offers both communal 'social' sessions and private group bookings. St. Andrews Seaside Sauna was established on East Sands, St. Andrews, the best sea-bathing beach, in the historic coastal town of St. Andrews, in late 2024. St. Andrews Seaside Sauna was designed and built and is owned and managed by, UK sauna pioneer, Judith Dunlop, who opened The Original Elie Seaside Sauna, the sauna that kicked-off the sauna movement in Scotland and which remains the longest running, owner-operated, public sauna in Scotland, back in June 2022. Along with its sister saunas, Elie Seaside Sauna, on Elie Harbour, in the pretty village of Elie and Cellardyke Seaside Sauna, at Cellardyke Tidal Pool, near Anstruther, St. Andrews Seaside Sauna operates under the Scottish Seaside Sauna operation, owned and managed by, Judith. Together these saunas were the first saunas in Scotland to receive Approved Sauna Operator status from The British Sauna Association.
