Villa Furubacka

Rental use or for members only or for customers only

The Villa Furubacka camp center is located on Vartiosaari island, and it is primarily intended for camp and event use by youth organizations, youth groups, and residents. At the center of the camp is a two-story white wooden villa completed in 1908. The area is in use only during the summer season, from the beginning of May to the end of September. For leisure activities and hobbies, there is a swimming beach, a floating sauna, a grilling shelter, and rowing and pedal boats. The island's nature and viewing cliffs offer opportunities for outdoor activities and enjoying the scenery along the nature trail. Because the site is located on an island, transportation and space reservations are handled centrally through the youth work unit of the City of Helsinki's environmental services.
