Idöborg is a privately owned island located in the outer Stockholm archipelago, near Nämdö, about an hour from central Stockholm. It is a year-round destination known for its magnificent nature and peaceful atmosphere, making it suitable for relaxation, weddings, conferences, and retreats. The island has been in the same family for almost 100 years and features a guest harbor, making it accessible by private boat, Waxholmsbolaget ferries, or taxi boats. Accommodation options on the island are diverse, ranging from the Art Nouveau-style Vita Villan and the sea-view Villa Solnedgången to smaller cottages like Insikten and Gråmössa, as well as glamping tents. Services include the Strandbaren restaurant, a sauna with panoramic views, and various activities such as kayaking, yoga, and swimming from the sandy beach. The island also serves as a base for excursions to nearby islands like Bullerö.
