The Happy Hamlet is a countryside retreat. The centuries-old farm and surrounding property have been carefully restored to preserve their authentic, peaceful character, offering an environment designed for slowing down, unplugging and reconnecting with nature, family and friends. The property is run by a Finnish-Czech-French couple, Suska and Nico, and was selected by GEO Saison magazine as one of the "50 Most Beautiful Hotels in Europe" in 2021. The property is surrounded by 13 hectares (more than 30 acres) of preserved countryside, including woods and bamboo, prairies and a valley, with plenty of trails for walking and running. Accommodation consists of five charming en-suite bedrooms with space for a total of 15 guests. A large barn houses spacious common areas and a fully equipped semi-professional kitchen, and Wi-Fi covers the entire property. Several outdoor terraces are suited to sunset apéros, dining under the stars and relaxation. A seasonal natural swimming pool is also available, along with a barrel sauna that is open year-round.
